A lovely large audience at The Bridge Dumfries where we played an ambitious programme of quintet music including some new material. It was very well received and we really enjoyed performing there. Kate the Organiser wrote,
“We had a real treat on Sunday – the concert given by Brass Tracks was so varied and very enjoyable. Many of the audience commented after the concert how enjoyable it had been. All members of the group engaged at different levels and in different ways with the audience which made the whole concert a pleasure to be part of. I loved the final short piece because it seemed so apt – Brass Tracks certainly did “Spread a little happiness” in Dumfries on Sunday. A huge ‘thank you’ to them all and particularly for their drawings in our guest book – when music no longer has any appeal they can become visual artists!
PS We even tracked down two visitors from Switzerland who were very complimentary about the Four Swiss Tunes !”
